A Sad Time For Brinklow FC

M.jpg

It is with great sadness that the club had to announce the passing of Mick “Bolty” Holt following a long battle with Parkinson’s. Bolty was a dedicated and loyal clubman who served the club throughout his life as a player, coach, manager and committee member.

He touched the lives of so many people with his witty banter and sense of humour. Known as “Mr Brinklow” by those that worked with him at the club he will be forever be in the hearts of the Brinklow FC family. A legend in every sense of the word. Rest in peace now Bolty

Looking forward to another season

As the summer sun begins to wane and the crisp, cool air of autumn settles in, anticipation and excitement fill the hearts of football enthusiasts in Brinklow. The dawn of a new football season at Brinklow FC is upon us, and the entire community is buzzing with energy and hope. It's a time when the green pitch at our beloved Barr Lane comes alive with the thunderous cheers of loyal fans and the nimble footwork of our talented players.

The previous season may have had its ups and downs as they always do, but this season brings a renewed sense of hope. Fans eagerly await the chance to see their favourite players back in action, donning the familiar blue and yellow kits with pride. The young talents throughout the club are eager to make their mark.

The anticipation of goals scored, breath-taking saves, and unforgettable moments on and off the pitch is what makes this club so special. Brinklow FC is not just a football club; it's a symbol of community spirit and resilience. The friendships forged on the side lines and the memories created during the thrilling games are cherished for a lifetime.

So, as we look forward to the new 2023/24 football season at Brinklow FC, we hope you can all get behind our teams, and give them as much support as possible.
